Challenge
A Mt Lebanon house that had the right bones and the wrong everything else — an outdated kitchen, a bath that needed hardware and a vanity, and electrical that needed bringing current.
Approach
Kitchen gutted. Bath taken to hardware and put back with a new vanity; stained glass transom kept. Electrical brought current. Interior designed as a single room across all spaces — burl wood, bouclé, antique gilt.
Result
Nightly rates climbed dramatically, then a long-term tenant signed at the top of Mt Lebanon's rental band.
